NV Nissan or Mercedes Sprinter Vans

Nissan NV 3500 is our newest addition to our family! We knew we needed a new van soon. After, test driving around we tried to decide over Mercedes sprinter or Nissan NV? Once test driving was done we chose the NV Nissan. Best decision we made. We love the van. Its huge fits 12 passengers but right now I chose to remove 3 seats to make it 9 seat passengers. Every day, I drive my kids and the 2 Grandmas so this van fits us perfectly! To be honest It took awhile for my DH (husband) to decide our vehicle over the Mercedes.  After he starting reading Pros and Cons on both vans, he finally agreed with me to get the NV.

I love that it has 2 power outlets  120 volts  in front and back for us to charge our I pads, laptops, cell phones and so on.. What sold us the most in the NV more than Mercedes was that the Mercedes didn't have air bags all around the cabin! We upgraded it to have rubber floors and back up camera with sensor. It has cup holders under every seat in the back. Since, we test drive both vans this vehicle is not as loud and noisy as the Mercedes.

We already had it for 2 months and love it! I do get looks from people asking what is this a van or truck? Can't wait till we take our Bertie ( kids named it Bertie since it looks like a bus) on long road trips! We have done short road trips with all 8 of us comfortable. Without hearing the kids saying Mommy he is breathing on me, bothering me or so on...Now they have their space and love it. One thing it didn't come with was a built in DVD player. We do plan to add that soon so kids can enjoy watching movies. Here are  a few pictures.

Hope this helps for those who plan to buy a NV.

3 Birthday's in January (Spongebob & Luau Theme)

Last month in January we celebrated 3 out of 4 kids Birthdays! Now the fun part begins how do I plan it? Make them all together? 2 little ones together and have oldest son alone? What do I do now? After, discussing with my husband we just decided to do them all at once. My oldest son was OK with it. Phew!
Trying to figure out how to make it all work out close to same theme I came up with the boys to do Spongebob pineapple under the sea Birthday and for our daughter we did a Luau theme. It worked out PERFECT!
I ordered all the cakes from Publix 2 different Spongebob cake for boy's and 1 Luau for princess. We rented a huge combo bounce house and played a couple games. Thank god my mother, mother in law, husband and couple neighbors came to help me. My kids loved the way we decorated and also they had so much fun that day! Here are a few pictures of the Birthday party!

5 + 1 = 6

This is my first post after 2 years. First, I want to share that we are a family of 6 now! Our family finally welcomed our daughter who is 13 months old now! Yes, after 3 boys God tested our faith and gave us a beautiful little girl! She is our Princess or should I say Tom Boy! (she is a tough girl that keeps up after 3 brothers)

Well as you know from my last posts hubby surprised me with a trip to Jamaica! During that time I was pregnant with my daughter but didn't know! You probably asking yourself how come I didn't know I was pregnant! The Truth is that I didn't know till I was 11 weeks along! Did I have symptoms? Not much. Finally, one day I told dh I have to see the doctor to see why I'm constantly sick all the time.I walked everyday and ate healthy couldn't understand why I kept getting sick every few days. My husband looks at me strange and says do you think you are pregnant? I laughed at him and said ask yourself that because we ain't trying? He looked so curious at me and said please take a pregnancy test before calling the doctor! So, the very next morning took boys to school stopped to Publix on my way back. Bought the test came home took it and surprisingly that did it. Positive! I was lost for words showed it to my dh and he was shocked but both of us were happy! So called my doctor saw him a week later to find out I was 12 weeks pregnant! When I told dh I was 12 weeks along first thing he said that this baby will be a girl! I was like ya right after 3 boys very low chance to have a girl! At 14 weeks pregnant had a sonogram the lady tried to see what I was having and said it looks like a girl but didn't want to give me the 100% that she was right cause she said it was early to tell still! At 20 weeks sonogram my dh saw her private parts first before the sonographer was able to say it was a GIRL! Hubby, my mom and I cried! I thank the Lord and also to our patron saint that we named our daughter after! Even though  most of the time I was in bed rest due to placenta previa. She came into this world on 1-2-13  weighing 8lbs! Here she is with her 3 brothers!

I'M BACK!

Yes it's been almost 2 years gone from blogging. Just a short note I will be posting again but not everyday! I hope you all doing well! Can't wait to write about my family, DIY, Coupons and much more!!

Have a blessed day!
