This week I didn't do much shopping as you can see. Since, i came back from Ohio and its only the 3 of us at home. I have a full Freezer to make dinners and lunch. Dh wanted some watermelon and Winn dixie has a good price for it. I do not have the pic of the watermelon since its all ready been cut up and in the fridge. Here is what i got.

May 18

Well, this weekend i was away in Ohio visiting my mother. I did not do much shopping just a little here and there. In Ohio at Wags i did find the Gillette Breeze razors in clearance for $2.74 each. I bought all 4 that was left and had to do separate transactions on them. Each came to $.94 cents with tax. I used a $2MQ on them. I do not have pictures of these since i only kept 1 for myself and gave 2 to my mom and 1 to a friend of mine. Today May 18th now that i'm back at home i went out to do a few errands but of course since its the middle of the week its so hard to find your items at CVS or Wags. I went to 4 Wags to do the Gillette body wash, reach toothbrush & kids aquafresh toothpaste. Finally, i did find only the Gillette bodywash and got them for a sweet deal!!! This is what i did. I find only 2 Gillette bodywash and had 2 $2MQ for them so in order to get the $3 rewards i needed another bodywash so i got the Old Spice body along with that. i did not have a coupon for it. Either they are 3$10 at the register came to a nice surprise the cashier goes $6.66..and this was before i gave him my coupons. I said oh which one was on sell he tells me the 2 Gillette bodywash were. I was thankful that happened since i did not have a coupon for the Old spice bodywash. After my coupons came to a total of $2.96 OOP and got back $3 RR.

Stockpiling What to keep in the Garage

What to keep in the garage when you are living in the South. Over this weekend my neighbor came by. I was organizing my stockpile. She pointed out and told me to be careful with soda, popcorn,chips & deodorants. So, after that i had to make and clear out my pantry and put other stuff in the garage and bring in the sodas,chips, cans and box foods.

I dropped off my oldest DS to school this morning and, I decided to head out to Walgreens. I was hoping to find the Clean & Clear Body Wash. Sadly they were out so ended up buying the 2 Cottenelle TP  @ $5 each used WQ 2/$1 and $5 ECB i had from previous. out of pocket paid $3.28 and got back $3 ECB

Off to another Walgreens hoping to find the C&C body wash  but, again they were sold out. I did get

Extreme couponers

As i watched the extreme coupon show, i realized that they are buying all junk foods,cleaning products & hygiene items. What i did not see was real food nor produce. I did not see fresh meat,milk,diary stuff nor bread. I'm curious to what they feed their kids. Crackers with mustard?? Seriously, who would buy 100 mustard when they have an expired date? Since i started to coupon the past few months, i have lowered my grocery bill significantly! I buy meat at a different grocery store that has pretty good deals. My produce & diary stuff i shop at Aldi's. Living in Florida no stores double here nor do i ever got food for free like the T.V shows. I do get a lot of cleaning,hygiene, beauty stuff free. That is about the most i can do. Regardless, this is a very rewarding hobby. It is also addicting too. It stretches the dollar especially in tough economic times such the ones we go through.

Last night dh took me out to a  nice Italian restaurant i love and this morning he surprised me with shelves for my stockpile! I was so excited he got me extra shelves since my stockpile is building up. Here is a pictures of my stockpile i did within 2 months! About 3/4th of my stuff were free and the rest were under $2 dollars! I started working on my shelves today for more space. Here is the picture for u too see!

Hmm, looking through the ad this coming week May8. CVS doesn't look all that exciting to me. I might skip CVS this week. Also, depends what is in the newspaper this week as well. With Walgreens i plan to hit up the store on Sunday morning and get BOGO Clean & Clear burst Body wash. Remember when they are BOGO and have a coupon for BOGO you get both for FREE!! Well, what a day! From early in the morning had to drop off my oldest DS to school and take my 2 littles to the doctors since they both have a cough! Thankfully, we finished the doctors office within and hour which is FAST!!! (Usually i'm in there for 2 or 3 hrs most of the times) So, off we go to Target and i have 3 targets that are less then 5 miles from my home. I am a stay at home mom of three beautiful children and I am lucky to have an amazing and supporting husband. I have discovered the power of savings with coupons. In this economy, it is ever more relevant to try to realize savings on daily activities. Coupons are an amazing way to save and beat the grocery stores in their own game. After all, the power and prudence of combining deals, is challenging and quite addicting as a hobby.
