I only went to do the first deal, but once the cvs machine printed out $5/$25. I knew I had to make another run home to look through all my coupons and see how to use it since it was expiring today. I paid all with my CVS gift card.

Recycle toilet paper rolls..

   Hello everyone! Hope you all having a great weekend! I know for sure I am with all my boys. Today, I decided to reuse toilet paper rolls and make them into a Mosaic Candle Craft with my boys. I let them do the job. It was pretty easy. Here is what you will need..

toilet paper roll
scrap paper
Mosaic foam pieces
paint
Glue
Craft stick


First step is to paint the toilet paper roll any color you want. We painted it White

2nd. While you are waiting for the paint to dry. Get scrape paper and draw a wreath and a Light. Cut them out. Glue the wreath to the bottom of the toilet paper roll with Glue. Glue the light part on the craft stick.

3rd. Let the fun part begin. Get the Mosaic form pieces and stick them however you want on the toilet paper roll.

4th. Glue the candle stick inside the roll. Decorate your wreath however you wish to..

Taa daaa My kids just make a Mosaic candle..

Homemade playdough recipe

    Today, the boys wanted me to make them play-dough. They only asked me to make one color and it was blue they wanted.   This is my favorite recipe. Once they are done playing, I put it back into baby food containers. I always save my baby's plastic food containers especially now with the holidays coming up. It makes a great gift idea. Stack  3 together with different colors of play-dough and wrap them up on a clear wrap and bow it! Makes a great stocking gift!

Here is the recipe

1 cup flour

1 cup water

1/4 cup salt

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 Tbl spoon. vegetable oil

food coloring (I used 4 drops)

Just dump all the ingredients into your pot and give them a good stir. Put your pot on the stove and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it forms into a ball.As soon as it joins into one big glob, take it off the heat and dump it onto your counter or on some wax paper.  Wait for it to cool, then knead it a few times until it is nice and soft.  Then let your kid enjoy the homemade play-dough!!

First Orthodox church on Arabian Peninsula built in the UAE

Abu Dhabi, November 2, 2011

Russia thanked authorities of the United Arab Emirates for cooperation in building the first Russian Orthodox church on the Arabian Peninsula, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
"We are grateful to the UAE authorities for your assistance in building a Russian Orthodox church in Shardjah which has become the first on the Arabian Peninsula," Lavrov said at a press conference summing up the results if strategic dialogue Russia - Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
In September 2007, when Patriarch Kirill was Metropolitan of Smolensk and Kaliningrad and headed the Synodal Department for External Church Relations, he consecrated the foundation stone of the future church.

Ways to reuse Formula Cans...

  I go through a lot of formula cans and felt so bad throwing them away. Lately, I have found ways to reuse them. Here are a couple that I've got in hand.

   My kids had fun making a robot out of it! Of course for those who have little boys. I'm sure you have many broken pieces of toys. So, don't throw those out make a fun robot with your kids!!
